We found the location of Ahn Sahng-hong's church membership record and took photos today.

Recently, there have been reports among members of the WMSCOG questioning the authenticity of the single-page baptism record of Ahn Sahng-hong, suspecting it might be fake. Therefore, on December 10, 2011, I visited the Haeundae Church in Busan and took these photos (this was done through a special request, as it is not usually shown to the general public).

The Haeundae Church is located at 340 U1-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Hyundai Apartment Shopping Complex, and it is a Seventh-day Adventist Church.

This is Ahn Sahng-hong's church membership record. At that time, it was marked in the ledger as a “Baptism Record Book.”

The record book is over 50 years old, so it shows signs of wear and discoloration. However, all the membership records of the church members are still preserved and intact.

When you open the Baptism Record Book:

The first page of the membership record book is shown, and it is recorded and bound sequentially by number.

Finally, Ahn Sahng-hong appears. Upon comparing it with the widely circulated single-page baptism record online, it was verified as genuine with no discrepancies at all. It can now be trusted completely.

The dates are written in the Dangi (Korean Era) format, so to convert them to the Gregorian calendar, subtract 2333 from the Dangi year:

In 1954, Ahn Sahng-hong was baptized by Pastor Kim Seok-young, a confirmed real figure. The WMSCOG claims Ahn was baptized in 1948 by Pastor Lee Myung-deok, but there was no such person in the records of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (verified by checking the entire union registry).

This discrepancy may have been fabricated to fit their doctrine of "David's Throne and 40 Years".

I took a close-up shot of the record for clarity.

Finally, here is the entire cover of the Baptism Record Book once more.
